The Northern Marmara Motorway is Turkey's first transformation project in terms of lighting. By converting 8000 sodium vapor luminaires to AGL AREDO LED luminaires, electricity consumption, which is normally 14,000,000 kWh, has been reduced by 6,000,000 kWh, saving approximately 53%. In addition, thanks to this conversion, 1,400,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year were eliminated.
